Sorting in Workstreams
Overview
Within the "Workstreams" section of DevStride, users can organize their view by sorting both items and workstreams according to various criteria. This allows for a more efficient management of tasks and workstream structure.
Sorting Workstreams
You can sort workstreams by the following fields:
- Rank
- Title
- Date Added
- Date Updated
How to Sort Workstreams
- Navigate to the "Workstreams" section.
- Click on the "Sort" button in the upper right corner.
- In the "Sort Workstreams" section, select a field to sort by.
- Choose the sorting order:
- Ascending (↑)
- Descending (↓)
- Click on the "Sort" button to apply the changes.
Sorting Items
Items within a workstream can be sorted by the following fields:
- Rank
- Date Added
- Start Date
- Due Date
- Item Type
- Author
- Point Effort
- Time Spent
- Subtasks Count
- Labels Count
- Dependencies Count
- Title
- Assignee
- Estimate
How to Sort Items
- Inside a specific workstream, click on the "Sort" button in the upper right corner.
- In the "Sort Items" section, select a field to sort by.
- Choose the sorting order:
- Ascending (↑)
- Descending (↓)
- Click on the "Sort" button to apply the changes.
Example
To sort items by Title in ascending order:
- Click on the "Sort" button.
- Under "Sort Items", select "Title" from the dropdown menu.
- Choose "Ascending" as the order.
- Click "Sort" to rearrange the items.
