Step 1: Accessing Settings

  1. On the left-hand side of your DevStride dashboard, click on the Settings tab.
  2. Under the Settings section, select Teams. This is where you can manage all team-related settings.

Step 2: Creating a New Team

  1. At the top-right corner of the Teams section, click on the New Team button.
  2. Fill in the team name and any other relevant details in the pop-up form.
  3. Click Save to create the team.

Step 3: Adding Users to Teams

  1. To add users to a team, click on the team you wish to add members to.
  2. Inside the team's page, click on Invite Users.
  3. Select the users you want to add to the team and assign them a role.
  4. Click Send Invites to add the users to the team.

Step 4: Setting Up Team Permissions

  1. In the team's settings, navigate to the Permissions or Visibility tab.
  2. Choose the level of access you want team members to have. This could range from Public to various restricted access levels.
  3. Make sure to save changes after setting the permissions.

Step 5: Managing Team Roster

  • The Roster section displays all members of the team.
  • You can add or remove members by clicking on their profile icon.
  • To manage a member's role or remove them from the team, click on the ... next to their name and select the appropriate action.

Step 6: Adjusting Team Visibility

  • Under the Visibility column, you can set each team's visibility to Public or Private.
  • Click on the visibility status to toggle between Public and Private.

Step 7 : Saving Your Settings

  • After making the necessary changes, ensure that you save your settings.
  • Look for a Save or Confirm button within each section to make your changes permanent.

Remember to regularly review and update your team settings to reflect any changes in your organization or project requirements.
