Devstride's "Items" section offers a detailed list of all tasks and items within your project. Customize this list to better track and manage your project's elements according to your workflow needs.

Accessing Item Options

  1. Click on the Items section from the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Locate the Options button near the top-right corner, next to the Sort and Export buttons, and click on it.
  3. From the drop-down, choose Table columns to modify the visible columns in the items list.

Customizing Item Visibility

The "Manage Columns" dialog allows you to control the visibility of various item details:

Available Fields

  • The fields available for display customization include:
    • Item Type: The classification of the item (e.g., Story, Epic).
    • Cycle / Board: The cycle or board that the item is associated with.
    • Due Date: The expected completion date for the item.
    • Start Date: The date when work on the item began.
    • Point Estimate: The estimated size or complexity of the item.
    • Time Estimate: The amount of time estimated to complete the item.
    • Time Spent: The actual time recorded against the item.
    • Priority: The urgency or importance of the item.
    • Tags: Identifiers for quick categorization and filtering.
    • Release: The release that the item is a part of.
    • For Customer: Indicates if the item is directly related to a customer.
    • Blocked Reason: The reason why an item may be blocked.

Applying Your Customization

  • To apply the changes:
    • Check or uncheck the boxes next to each field to toggle their visibility.
    • Once you've set your preferences, click the Apply button to update the items list.

Resetting to Default View

If you want to revert back to the standard view with all fields visible:

  • Open the "Manage Columns" dialog.
  • Click on the Clear button to deselect all hidden fields.
  • Hit Apply to see all the information associated with your items.
